How do I know when my medication expires?

We make it easy to identify when you should use your medication by. Just look for the letters "BUD" on the bottle.

A Beyond-Use Date (BUD) is the date after which a compounded medication should no longer be used. BUDs ensure safety, potency, and effectiveness for compounded medications. It's similar (but not exactly the same) as an expiration date on manufactured drugs. BUDs are based on the date a medication is compounded.

The BUD of your medication will always be enough to cover the duration of the prescription.
